Why handbuilt? The same reason people get excited by food that has been created from scratch. There’s something special about something that’s been built by hand. Crude and elegant, soft yet hard (sounds like our wedding night — ba da boom — hey we’re here all week folks! Three shows on Sundays) Both Ann and Dave have pursued various handbuilt ventures over the years — some successful, some just crooked, obscure creations. So when it came to creating a company, it made sense to tag it with the handbuilt name. It’s something we continue to do, from creating stuffed animals, to hand-painted purses and t-shirts.

Below are a couple of Ann’s latest and most certainly awesome creations. The babashka dolls are equal parts retro and super cool, the bunnies – well who doesn’t love a stuffed bunny, and the pyramid purses (around 5 inches in height) are just the right size to keep all those things that you don’t want to stuff in your pocket.
